London Treasury provides integrated treasury services through the Greater London Authority’s (GLA) collaborative shared service arrangements to enhance efficiency, service resilience, and to identify opportunities for savings and risk reduction.
Overview
The treasury management service includes strategic management of financial assets, liabilities, and liquidity with a mission to mitigate financial risk, ensure cash is available when required and seek to optimise returns on surplus cash balances wherever possible.
London Treasury’s expert team supports the delivery of the treasury shared service and acts as principal advisor to the Mayor of London, GLA’s corporate management team and the shared service participants on matters of borrowing, investment, balance sheet risk, long-term capital finance and pensions.
